About

I am a born perfectionist, always striving for unattainable perfection. Phrases like "nothing is impossible," "never enough," and "everything can be done better" often echo in my head. My fascination with computer science began in my early years, and I started my programming adventure in primary school. In junior high school, encouraged mainly by teachers, I participated in local competitions, achieving my first small successes. Much has changed since then, but my passion for creating innovative solutions remains the same.

In technical school, I received a scholarship from the "Mazovia - Scholarships for Vocational School Students" project, which provided the financial support necessary to further develop my skills. Since 2018, I have been actively participating in hackathons as a mentor and hacker, promoting blockchain-based solutions. My projects have been recognized and awarded for vision (Blockathon, 2018), the best approach to the subject (ETHLondon, 2020), and innovation (ETHAmsterdam, 2022).

I began my professional career at Alior Bank, initially as a Specialist, and, less than a year later, as an Expert in Blockchain Technology. There, I was responsible for the technical aspects of implementing the durable medium using a public blockchain network – Ethereum. I authored the smart contract that powered this entire solution, marking the first use of a public blockchain in the Polish financial industry and among the first globally. This achievement was noticed by the media, as I was personally mentioned in Forbes, Yahoo Finance, Coindesk, and CoinTelegraph, while the solution itself was also featured in Business Insider, Cashless.pl, Money.pl, and FXMAG. I had a stint at a PlayWay subsidiary, where, as CTO, I managed blockchain projects and a game launcher that catered to tens of thousands of players daily. However, after a year, our paths diverged as I shifted focus to developing my own business.

Since 2021, I have been intensively working on Prown – a startup aimed at eliminating the growing market of counterfeit goods and providing consumers with new digital benefits alongside physical products. We utilize blockchain technology and the recently popular NFT tokens for this purpose. In October 2022, the project secured funding from European Funds, accelerating its development and enabling the employment of a six-person team. Although the platform was launched quite recently, Prown has already collaborated with several Polish and global brands.

I graduated in computer science from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. I enjoy sharing knowledge, conducting workshops, giving lectures, and participating in discussion panels. For three years, I taught blockchain courses at the Postgraduate FinTech Studies at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and was the patron of a project group at the Postgraduate Blockchain Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. I co-authored an article on cryptocurrencies for the Bureau of Research of the Polish Parliament. Previously, I was a member of the working group on distributed registers and blockchain at the Ministry of Digital Affairs and conducted comprehensive blockchain and cryptocurrency training at the Office of the Financial Supervision Authority.
